Sustainability

At Le Petit Pull, sustainability is woven into every stage of our process. We create made-to-order knitwear using premium natural fibres and seamless knitting technology, allowing us to produce thoughtfully, minimize waste, and support local manufacturing in Canada.

Made-to-Order

Every Le Petit Pull garment is made to order. By producing only what is needed, we avoid excess inventory and reduce unnecessary waste of materials and resources. This approach allows us to focus on quality rather than quantity while ensuring that no garments are produced without a purpose.

Minimal Waste

Our seamless knitting technology uses only the precise amount of yarn required for each garment, significantly reducing material waste compared to traditional cut-and-sew methods. Our rigorous quality standards help minimize defects, and yarn from imperfect pieces is carefully rewound and reused in future production.

We complement this approach with plastic-free packaging, helping to further reduce our environmental footprint.

Every Le Petit Pull garment is proudly made in Canada. By keeping production local, we maintain close oversight of quality, support skilled craftsmanship, and contribute to the preservation of textile expertise in North America.

Natural Fibres

We work exclusively with premium natural fibres, including extra-fine merino wool, cashmere, alpaca, silk, linen, and pima cotton.

These fibres are renewable, biodegradable, and chosen for their exceptional comfort, performance, and longevity.

Responsible Sourcing

We source our yarns from trusted spinning mills in Italy and France that uphold rigorous environmental and quality standards. Our suppliers comply with REACH regulations, which govern the safe use of chemicals in textile production, and many of our yarns are certified according to the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, ensuring they are tested for harmful substances and safe for human use.
